Ibbo presents Lewes Bridge View JFC awards
(June 26, 2010)Lewes FC manager Steve Ibbitson provided the icing on the cake for the youngsters of Lewes Bridge View Junior Football Club at their end of season presentation. Ibbo presented all players with trophies at the Dripping Pan on 25th June and was happy to sign autographs and have his picture taken.
Players from all teams, from under 8s through to the under 16s, collected trophies to mark another successful year on the pitch. New Chairman, Richard Attfield-Davis confirmed that Lewes Bridge View would continue to offer high quality football training and teams for children and young people in the Lewes area. "We have great coaches and a dedicated committee who will ensure the club moves from strength to strength."
Local footballing legend Stan Brown also picked up a special award on the night for his tireless commitment to youth football in Lewes and to Bridge View in particular.
