Presentation Night 2011

Lewes Bridge View celebrated a successful season at the Dripping Pan last Friday. With returning Rook’s manager Steve King presenting the trophies the club reflected on a number of highlights including:

 

  • The u11s’ League and Cup double
  • The u10s winning every game this season
  • The u9s’ Belgium tournament
  • A number of players training with Brighton and Hove Albion, including Amelie Luthra with the girls’u11s
  • A string of tournament trophies and good performances

 

Chairman, Richard Attfield-Davis said, “This has been a fantastic season and rounding it off at the Pan is the icing on the cake. We are very grateful to Lewes FC.

 

“We had a very successful summer tournament on Malling Fields, have maintained our FA Charter Standard Development Award and will continue to offer high quality football for children and young people in the Lewes area.

 

The club is currently without a sponsor and looking for new players at certain ages, anyone interested should contact the club through its website: www.lewesbridgeview.co.uk

 

Richard also highlighted the fund-raising efforts of Jason Jenner. Jason is cycling across Europe for the club. Anyone wishing to sponsor him should go to Jason’s Barbers opposite Lewes station.
